A third life for Narendra Modi

December 24, 2007

Everyone was expecting a victory for Chief Minister Narendra Modi, but Modi did more than that, he led his party in Gujarat to resounding victory by winning win 117 seats in the 182-member state assembly. It was the fourth time for his party, the BJP. Modi was expected to just scrape through but he only lost a few seats as compared to the 2002 elections.

I have never been a fan of Modi’s but now after his show of strength I cannot help but feel some amount of admiration for the guy. He has won despite opposition within his own party and he has got the votes of the people.

He has been accused by the media of being a mass murderer and modern day Nero. Sonia Gandhi called him a merchant of death recently, and earlier, even the Supreme court had chided him…but finally all this has all come to naught. The electorate has spoken. The majority apparently don’t care enough about Modi’s alleged role in the Hindu Muslim riots in the aftermath of Godhra, a carnage which left more than a thousand people dead and many more injured.

Why he won
While Modi’s charisma and personality certainly played a part in his win, it is now believed that it was his developmental agenda for Gujarat that did the trick. Apparently, he downplayed the Hindutva card and emphasised development.

Gujarat has achieved much under his governance. Gujarat’s economy is vibrant. The state is a leading industrialised state (20 percent of India’s output). As per RBI report, in year 2006-07, 26% out of total bank finance in India was in Gujarat. It’s per capita GDP is believed to be 20 percent higher than the national average. It’s literacy rate is also higher than the national average – at 73 percent. The people are literate in large enough numbers to look at developmental parameters.

Minal, who lives in Gujarat has written an interesting post on why she thinks Modi won. Her post basically writes about the development in Gujarat that she has seen first hand. She writes about villages that have not got electricity and gives actual examples.

Did Muslims vote for Modi?
Even though an overwhelming majority of Gujarat’s population is Hindu (89.1 percent) and only 9.1 percent is Muslim, and voting patterns of Muslims would not determine the outcome of elections, I wondered whether any Muslims at all voted for Modi.

While searching the internet, I found this article which said there are places in Gujarat which are Muslim dominated, like Jamnagar, Niyana, Arrod and Pardi where apparently there are people who are willing to put the past behind them. A Jamnagar citizen there told the reporter:

“If pockets are empty, there will be violence. If people are jobless, there will be violence. Now that everyone is getting jobs, why should there be riots,” asked Ali Asghar Attarwala, an architect in Jamnagar town.

Another quote:

“Many Muslims are realising that the only truth is development,” said Hatim Modi, a Muslim who works as a defence contractor. “We have been used by others. We won’t ever forget the riots – but the reality is about development.” “And there are no inflammatory speeches now,” he added.

The article goes on to say that Muslims in these areas believe that Modi has softened his stance. I do not know how accurate this article is, and I do not know how representative these areas are of Gujarat, but perhaps people are moving on…after all Modi did express regret over the riots, calling them “wrong”. Ofcourse, the majority of Muslims must have voted for the Congress, but I wonder if this is a trend? Well, India (including Gujarat) is a very diverse country, so it’s difficult to say. This is probably the one of the reasons why exit polls go wrong so often in India.

I may personally believe that Modi should be tried for his role in the riots, but if the law of the land has found nothing against him, what can I say? I personally may not believe that Modi deserves to be Chief Minister the third term round, that he deserves to pay a price for what happened during the riots but again, my opinion hardly matters.

No judgments. This is politics in India.

    Gujarat elections convey:
1.Elections are to be fought on development issues, not on religious issues.
    2.Secularism is not hindu bashing.
3.Minority appeasement is not hindu bashing.
Regarding Gujarat riots, only media has over played it. If there was any role of the government in the riots there would not have been 30% deaths of hindus of the total who died in riots.

    Hi Nita,
So decent you written here and you are saying ‘this is politics in India’..! . You forgot to mention here what congress party leaders did in Gujarat as compare to what Modi achieved within his period. I think u knows the figures..! You also know that who did ‘Godhara kand’, right. So it is really and true that ‘this is politics in India’..! 🙂

media banishes him as Nero, but he gave people what they wanted… and that is why he is getting relelcted for the 3rd term

  4. December 24, 2007 10:40 am

Nita: These results, I believe are alamgam of several factors:

    1. Development has been definitely there, no one denies it.

    2. But I guess, Modi has clearly worked it out that majority are Hindus and so a religious tilt means a win.

    3. If Muslims are putting the past behind, I believe it is commendable. I hate to write about Gujrat and so-called Hindu fundamentalism, I feel it unnecessarily inflames passion on by-gones. I would do my best to help. But if I can’t make a sufficient positive difference, I am sure I will not write/make inflamed revelations that do not aid the legal process.

If “what people wanted” includes Godhra and its aftermath, illusory claims about the investment and development climate, an increasing gap between the haves and the have-nots and similar other things, I worry about the people.

The media survive largely on sensationalism, a neat turn of phrase and prophecies which some (I won’t even say most) people would like to read and hear. I don’t know how much of a real feel for the pulse of the majority of people they have — especially the English-language press and the “national” TV channels. Like a lot of us ordinary people, they confuse between what we would like to happen and what is going to happen. They are no better than the bookies, except that they wear a garb of respectability.

“Those who cast the Votes, they decide nothing. Those who count the votes, they decide everything”

In Gujarat, elections are fascism’s legalised fraud. People of Gujarat favored on fascist Narendra Modi as people of Germany favored on Nazi Hitler.

  9. December 24, 2007 3:40 pm

    Hi Nita
Thanks for covering modi’s win. And you know what, your admiration that has developed today for his win against odds is a reflection of the admiration that gujaratis have for him since a few years.
He is a man of words. If he says it, he DOES it. And that is why Gujarat loves him. They love him for his iron-like strenght. Gujarat is in love with him.
But the sad fact is that media has overplayed his image to scale of 1000s. Today media has nothing, just nothing to say. Media needs villains, and we all know it, and modi was their favourite. But you should live in gujarat to feel for him. He stays with every gujarati. His work speaks.
And dear Proletarian Revolutionary, you may hold your own views about gujaratis being fascist but let me tell you it is even today, by far the most secure and peaceful state. Come n live here for a while n then give statements. Don’t judge it by the media.
And if riots is the only thing that media recalls about him, why do they forget the godhra train carnage, the riots of punjab, of bombay or of 1947??
If you want to look back, why stop at 2002. Lets look back all the way.
Modi DESERVED to win. And I am a gujarati, and the article about muslims may not be completely representative of muslims in here but it sure is a reflection. More than 10% of muslims have voted for BJP this time. Something that never happened earlier.
Ohhh i can write and write forever on this but i think this is sufficient information.
    😉
And hey, my paris trip was great, but my blog conked off for a week after i came back hence have not posted anythng. but have lots to catch up i guess. Thanks for your wishes though.

    Minal

  10. December 24, 2007 3:43 pm

    And Mr. Proletarian Revolutionary
this election of gujarat was the most fair and transparent election that has ever taken place in India. So i STRONGLY DISAGREE with your statement that ‘those who count vote matters’
By the way, now we have elections on EVMs so i guess whoever wrote that statement about “counting” needs to redo it. Now it is automated. You can’t cheat.
Look up any old news of the day of gujarat’s elections and you wont find a single instance of bogus voting.
And if you still believe in what you do- God help you.

  11. December 24, 2007 5:22 pm

Thanks Vivek, Bharath, Proletarian Revolutionary, Minal.
Well, there are people who hate Modi and those who love Modi, that’s what is said about him in the media. And Gujaratis no doubt love him in a large majority.
Proletarian Revolutionary, I don’t think anyone doubts the fairness of the election. And if you are in doubt, just talk to Gujaratis in Gujarat. They love N. Modi.

  12. December 24, 2007 6:58 pm

Impressive article. One can only hope not to see any discrimination of the minority communities at any level in his tenure.

  13. December 24, 2007 7:54 pm

I am not sure that riots or wars have too much to do with elections. -except maybe in the US. churchill won the war, but lost the elections, Thatcher was part of the winning arrangement in Iraq 1, but lost on internal rebellion on the poll tax; rajeev gandhi oversaw the delhi massacres and was swept into power, modi has won twice despite his riot reccord…. traditionally votes are on ‘quality of life’ …. riots, unfortunately, only affect a minority – be it ethnic, religious, racial……

  14. December 24, 2007 8:35 pm

@Poonam – I dont think if you have 89.1 % hindus or majority you will wins, Hindus as auch are the most divided religion, it doesnt work like that. I think the devlopment of Gujarat is seen everywhere and his image of naa mein khataa hoon naa khaney doonga is what is helping him, which we nned at national level someone who can do something for the sate and the nation.
The reason of dissident s in BJP against him seems to be of peple who cant eat – kaa saktey hiaa – and they are mostly businessmen…. (who finance the party) . the people who come from RSS background are the real ones who work for without any expectations. BJP has two streams RSS and Businessmen, we know hy businessmen comes to politics.
So in a nutshell i his victory is more to do with what he has achieved for gujarat in all the areas, except one godhra.
I might sound bit of BJP fan, but reality is congress has ruled for 50 yrs, corruption, poverty and communalism are their babies which is widespread now, it will take decades to remove it or may be not… ITS KALYUGA….

Nita, It all boils down to development. I was in ahmedabad a month ago and everyone, hindu muslim & Christians (let’s not forget them)acknowledged that Modi had made a huge difference tot he economy of the state. What was also intriguing is that everyone said he was “clean & not corrupt” either he is a breed apart in more ways than one or his PR machinery is very good.

  21. December 25, 2007 6:18 pm

I was staying in Gujarat from long time. I have seen rule of Congress there and thus increasing distance between Hindu and Muslims.

Now, even after Post-Godhara tragedy, the distance is becoming narrow. As people realize that the real need is development only.

Ahemdabad has better internet connection than in Mumbai! <– The latest fact i just observed while working at our Ahemdabad office.

For all those have false image of Gujarat. Please come and see yourself!

I have not been a fan of Modi since the Godhra riots. Ok, he proved his detractors wrong by winning again, but does that make him ‘great’? NO. But for our snail-paced skewed judiciary, he would be in jail, or better hanged for orchestrating the genocide. I find it ridiculous that people think it is commendable that we move on.

Only us, who have watched Godhra on TV can forget and move on. Those kids who lost their parents and families cannot move on. Nita, I would suggest you to watch ‘The Final Solution’ by Rakesh Sharma that is about the Godhra riots (it is also available on YouTube). A tiny kid called Ijaz says Hindus are his enemies and he will grow up to be a soldier who shall kill all Hindus. The kid cannot believe that Mr.Sharma was himself was a Hindu because he looked like a good man..

No matter how much Gujarat develops economically, do you think kids as these will be able to forget the riots. 2002 just gave birth to a thousand ‘terrorists’ for the future. It is no use complaining about growing terrorism when we sow the seeds to future riots through these acts and fail to remember them for long enough to bring the perpetrators of crime to justice..

  23. December 25, 2007 7:18 pm

On Talveen Singhs article this is the first time she has impressed me with her article.
Anyway the point she made about Rajiv for 84 riots is right on the money.
Congress and other justify their acts in name of being secular and BJP gets criticized for being non secular. I think it will be an understatement to say that Political parties are all hypocrites…
anyway the other person hwoch come to my mind who has been Good CM is Chandra Babu Naidu, Next time when he becomes CM, AP will have development in rural area as well. People learn from their mistakes and by that time he will have Modi as an example.
India is full of “BHED CHAAL” – follow blindly. Modi and Naidu are setting new barometers…. Hopefully we will have more in coming years in other states. We need few in North India..

  24. December 26, 2007 9:03 am

Meenakshit, Kartik, Anand and Vishal, Thanks. Looks like development is on the lips of everyone (including me) but as Anand said, those who have suffered are scarred forever. I will watch that video Anand. I have seen Parzania and I guess that is just a movie but it does give an idea as to what happened after Godhra. I myself would not like to see Modi as the PM, as some are saying…

  25. December 26, 2007 4:20 pm

    Anand,
I am sure Ijaz will not. But it would be nice if you and Mr. Sharma could ALSO remember the children of the victims of the Sabarmati Express and the hundreds who were orphaned in riots before 2002. Let secularism not mean hindu bashing and broad-mindedness not mean upholding the wrongs of minorities.

  26. December 27, 2007 12:36 pm

I have for some long time suspected the best defense against ethnic and religious conflict is economic opportunity. I don’t know why, but it seems that when people feel they have a real chance to better themselves economically, ethnic and religious conflicts tend to ameliorate.

  27. December 27, 2007 2:18 pm

I am confused as I really do not know who to believe. It seems that people either love Modi or hate him and there are few neutral views on the topic.

One section holds him solely responsible for the riots and dismisses all claims of development as inflated and misleading and informs us that crime is growing in Gujarat.

The other section points out that Modi would never have been able to win this election had he not delivered on development for all sections and praise his responsive administration and claim that even the top leadership of the saffron party is scared of his growing stature.

The truth may lie somewhere in between.

Sorry for replying late. As for your reply, let me clarify that anti-Modi does not mean anti-Hindu..Yes, I said Modi should be hanged..But so should the perpetrators of the Sabarmati carnage. Anybody who committed a crime needs to be punished. So, that includes Modi, right?

There is ample evidence, then there is scant evidence and finally there is no evidence, the last category fits Mr Modi who is still winning elections and walking tall.

Why should you take a imprudent/rash decision as in the case of Modi who is as innocent as a eight month old infant.

Is it not a frivlous PIL which wastes courts time, supreme court which lakhs of cases pending?

On the one hand you have law abiding citizen, who has not been charge sheeted for any crime so far, and on the other hand a terrorist who had hordes of AK-47 and AK 56 found from his house.

Has javed akhtar advanced any PIL on behalf of kashmiri pundits who are living as refugees in their owl land due to ethnic cleansing process started by islamists of kashmir who are still shouting “kashmir me rahna hai tau allah allah kehna hai”?

He was the true Secular man who invited Taslima nasreen, while those champions of islam were baying for her blood and was rendered stateless after she was thrown away by Muslim friendly CPM stalwarts….what an irony ha?

There is a wrong perception of Shri Narendra Modi who like every one else was biased, nothing more nothing less. He was always a Jehadi hater and not a Muslim hater, there were Hindus also who were killed in riots along with 50 policemen and about 60 woman and children of coach S-6.

If Shree Modi talks against terrorists and Jehadis to safegaurd his Gujarat constituents what wrong was he saying? He was pro India and not Pakistan. Despite this the media managers who are on foreign payroll damaged India as a whole.

Guys Narendra Modi is synonimous to development henceforth in a decade he has developed Gujarat beyond recognition, love him or loathe him the choice is yours, but use some prudence please.

Ohh …..so now leaving facts aside we should rely on some film which was made by BJP’s enemies and then decide Modi’s fate….Is this a admissable tool in our juriprudence to hang some one by just watching the movie? Now for the vilification……DMK athiest leader karunannidhi is on the RECORD saying hindus are thieves, what a asinine/derogatory/disparaging remarks on Hindus and nobody treated this as a vilification, but when Modi sneazes the act is recorded beyond proportion and blown all over India through electronic media. Why has media not highlighted the corruption of Sharad Pawar who has disproportionate assets versus his income, he is worth about 300 crores, where the money came from? his links with Dawood and his ilks was well known during eighties when he was in congress, and recently when Stamp Paper thug Telgi was going through his narco analsys, HE NAMED HIM, was there any spark in the media on national level, the way they are portraying Modi?

When there are muslims involved in any murder, the whole media anger starts pouring on Hindus who are majority. When one Rizwan dies, CBI kicks in but when Ashok or Rama dies somewhere, we dont have even a police inquiry.

Why the media did not highlight Rajeev Gandhi and tytler on equal footing as Modi when 4000 Sikhs got killed?. simply because they were not muslims, had they been, the outcome would have been different. Rajeev defended the reaction and killing of sikh by saying ” when a big tree falls, even the earth shakes” these were his direct remarks after the sikh riots.

An intensive research conducted by Zenab Banu of Gujarat on the cause and effect of communal riots since 18th century (which was a topic of her Ph.D. thesis), wherein she had analyzed and documented major Hindu-Muslim riots spread over 250 years, shows that in over 95 % cases the riots were initiated by Muslims. Her thesis has been published in a book entitled ‘Politics of Communalism’ (1978).

[And Kanchan, BJP is championing the right of freedom to speech in the Taslima Nasreen case. Oh well, these are the same gentlemen who have been a thorn in the flesh for Aamir Khan in Gujarat. Well, Taslima is different because she has infuriated the Muslims, and that means she concurs with their ideology.]

Amir Khan is in the same boat as Javed Akhtar, Teesta Setalvad who are pro Muslim in their attitude. Amir khan has said He was not against the narmada dam but for 4000 people who stand to be displaced. FINE.

My question to Amir, why this sudden spurt of love for these 4000 peoples? Has he cared for half a million Hindu pundits who are displaced in their own land and living as refugee in tents and make shift houses. NO …there was not a single concern for such barbarity against HALF A MILLION HINDUS, but yes for 4000 people he had to raise his voice towards Gujarat. The guy was infuriated after what he saw and heard by pseudo secular media men about riots in Gujarat therefore on BBC programme he termed it a genocide, but such was not the word he used for 4000 slaughtered Sikhs. Hence he came against Gujarat interest with a vengeance. ask him if he has made any movie on Jehad or ethnic cleansing in kashmir?

Wheras on the other hand, Taslima is an educated lady, in fact she is a doctor, a soul searching muslim who found the truth away from the pillars of mecca madina, she found it in humanity, which has become her religion, she is trying to expose her previous religion by writing books and not weilding swords as these Jehadis and Talibanis do. Therefore I beleive that there is nothing wrong if she educates Muslim youths through her research on Islam and her experience of atrocities on Bengali Hindu people in Bangladesh to see Islam in Black and White. Nothing wrong. Would not you try to save a blind man who might otherwise fall into a well? Muslim youths are blind folded, brain washed with daily doses of Quranic injunctions and Hadeeths besides Sunna. There is more to it than what meets the eye. Love me or leave me.

It is interesting to note that India’s Muslim leaders, who have on occasion declared that their Sharia courts supersede the normal judicial process -– most recently in the case of a Muslim woman being raped by her father-in-law and then being told to divorce her husband and marry the father-in-law -– are silent about the Naushad case. Where is Shabana Azmi? Where is Teesta Setalvad? Why aren’t they loudly supporting the Saudi Sharia courts in this instance? Is their support of Islam selective -– only when it is convenient for them?

AHMEDABAD: Could there be illegal Pakistani visitors behind the simmering communal violence in Gujarat?

In a ‘classified’ document submitted by the Intelligence Bureau (IB) before the Home Ministry, the agency have raised serious concern about the nearly 500 Pakistani visitors whose whereabouts remain a mystery. “They are all not traceable anywhere,” the report says.

What is even more intriguing, the agency states, is that out of these 500 people, more than 375 were marked for various locations in Gujarat. Inquiry conducted on their current whereabouts following the lack information on their return, have shown these visitors as missing.

So, on virtually every parameter you can measure, 1984 was worse than 2002. Why then is Modi called a fascist while the Congress is heralded as a secular saviour? Sitaram Yechury of the CPM points out that the Congress ultimately apologised for the 1984 killings, but the BJP has still not done so for 2002.

That is indeed a difference. Modi needs to make a similar gesture. But have the two Communist parties apologised for the millions murdered by their comrades globally? Stalin killed 3 million kulaks in the Ukranian famine, not allowing food to go in or people to come out. Mao boasted of liquidating 3 million capitalist roaders. Our Marxists fulminate against American imperialism but will not apologise for their life-long support of murder and torture in the Red Empire. They object to murder only when committed by other parties. The people of Nandigram will tell you as much

I am a CM now and I will be a CM in future also” by meaning the abbreviation “CM” as “Common Man”. He has proved that he is really a CM, that is, Confident Man – Capable Man – Cheerful Man – Charismatic Man and finally a “Chief Minister” in the real sense of it. His win will prove to be good not only for Gujarat but for India as well!

On July 18, 2006, Modi delivered a speech criticizing Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh “for his reluctance to revive anti-terror legislations” such as the Prevention of Terrorism Act. He asked the Centre to empower states to invoke tougher laws in the wake of the blasts in Mumbai. Quoting Modi:
“Terrorism is worse than a war. A terrorist has no rules. A terrorist decides when, how, where and whom to kill. India has lost more people in terror attacks than in its wars”

    QUOTE:

Hindustan Times (December 5) carried an interesting story from Gujarat that said that “if Narendra Modi was to run for elections from this portside town in Gujarat (Sikka) where more than 80 per cent residents are Muslims “he would probably win hands down”. As the paper’s reporter saw it, “for many Muslims, good governance has blunted the sharp edges of their hostility towards Modi”. The reporter quoted an architect in Jamnagar, Ali Asghar Attarwala as saying: “If pockets are empty, there will be violence. If people are jobless, there will be violence. Now that everyone is getting jobs, why should there be riots?” Good question. And sound reportage as well. It has been fashionable all these months since Godhra to run Gujarat’s Chief Minister down on any pretext, especially by quoting Muslims negatively. The reporter quoted yet another Muslim, a defence contractor as saying: “Many Muslims are realising that the only truth is development. We have been used by others. We won’t ever forget the riots—but the reality is about development.” Yet another Muslim, quoted by the reporter seemed to have still more praise for Modi. He is reported as saying: “How long can we hang on to the past? This country has to go forward, not backward. Everyone has their view but no other Chief Minister has done as much as Modi. He is not just the Chief Minister of Hindus”. According to the reporter, “Sikka is swearing by Modi for now”. Miracles can happen.

AN APPEAL TO THE WORLDWIDE NRI COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT NARENDRA MODI POLITICAL HIER OF SARDAR VALLABHAI PATELFOR PROGRESS OF GUJARAT
PLEASE CIRCULATE THIS IMPORTANT MESSAGE FAR AND WIDE

    Dear friends:

Gujarat is the land of rich cultural heritage and birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi’s satya griha movement which helped liberate India, our beloved motherland from foreign rule. Today, Gujarat is rated as the number one state in India. In a short span of just five years since Narendra Modi took over as the Chief Minister, Gujarat has achieved the highest degree of administrative efficiency and modernization. In fact, Gujarat has become the best-governed state in the country where regional and national pride is overflowing. Numerous accolades have been awarded to Gujarat from international organizations such as the United Nations and the World Bank. T he Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, headed by Sonia Gandhi, judged Gujarat as the number one state under Narendra Modi’s leadership.

Without a doubt, most credit for Gujarat’s phenomenal progress goes to Narendra Modi. We owe him a huge debt for his courage, dedication and tenacity in putting Gujarat back on its feet. Thanks to his iron will and wisdom, terrorism – the global curse of the 21 st century has been eliminated from the soil of Gujarat transforming Gujarat into the most secure state in India.
    – Hide quoted text –

Known as one of the most articulate, intelligent, and gifted public servants currently in office in India, Narendra Modi has thorough knowledge of what is wrong with the country and has the guts to do something about it. How the country needs his brand of honesty and realism today!

Privately, Narendra Modi leads a simple lifestyle; He is unmarried, owns no property and has no relations to support. He considers the people of Gujarat as his family and all of India is his home. His dream is the regeneration and transformation of Gujarat, and eventually his motherland, emerging as a developed and powerful nation. How sad that his strong nationalism and excellence in good governance is lacking in many so-called “leaders” who misrule India today in the name of “democracy and secularism”!

    SONIA BHEN

You call Modi a Merchant of Death, but can you explain the death due to Sikh riots by your party leaders where three times more people died and no justice was ever done since 1984? Can you explain deaths due to terrorism which is just next to Iraq caused due to your government soft policies for Vote Banks. Can you explain while millions of taxpayers money are used for your protection, you take away the protections from terrorism to the citizens by removing POTA and other laws? Let us see, how many blasts occurred since your party took power? Delhi Blast , Varanasi Blast, Bombay Blast, Malgoan Blast, Samhita Express, Bangalore attack, Hyderabad Blast (three of them) and probably many others. How many terrorists are caught while innocent people die? You are boosting morale of terrorists by asking clemency for Afzal and your hand picked PM loses sleep of terror suspects LIKE DR HANEEF, while in Gujarat all Gujarthis are living free of terrorism. Who is Merchant of Death, Madam?

You denigrate whole state of Gujarat consisting of honest entrepreneurial and hardworking people of India as Godse Country. Gujarat is the land that gave India Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel. It is quite obvious you come from a Fascist Nation, do not have much of an opportunity to study in school like the born Indians, or study in college like some other westerners. Madam Gandhi, your statements show lack of intellectual depth to understand great people of India. It looks like you parrot whatever your speech writers write, without knowing the facts.

Let me suggest an alternative. Would you disposed to challenging Modi on the human development index (say Gujarat Vs Andhra Pradesh or Gujarat Vs West Bengal?). Would you challenge Modi where the minorities are better off, in Gujarat or any other congress ruled states? Would you engage in an honest debate whether handing out special privileges at the expense of other community would lead to prosperity or peace? Would you bother to study what happened in US and how they are smart enough to fix it with respect to African Americans.

    I am all ears……

Modi does not deserve to be the chief minister of Gujrath. He should be the Prime Minister of India. We should have someone of his caliber and mentality lead the world. He has triumphed thrice and he will win again. Narendra Modi age badho hum tumhare sath hai. We all should reloace to Gujrath and live a nice life under NaMo’s leadership.
